surfing quantum foam

warm evening breeze
beneath quaint crescent moon
jasmine floats with ease
her scent with which to swoon

lifted by the songs of birds
we sprout wings and take flight
sky-we abandon words
dissolve into the night

surfing quantum foam
upon the moonlit tide
evening air we roam
within the wind we ride

lands unfold below
seen through our world-eye lens
her subtle glow bestow
sailing ‘tween night islands

archipelago
of noctilucent clouds
in indigo we flow
as light we flash aloud

we are the storm
moonlight delight
in cloud-like form
who lights the night
