i found you hiding

i found you hiding

deep inside my heart

while therein abiding

your voice to impart

i heard your dear voice

echo through these chambers

as if my cardiac joists

were built by lyric framers

i felt your song inside my bones

throughout my body still you roam

ringing out insightful tones

here in me your other home

i see you in a thousand eyes

and rock and tree and vine

in everyone who creeps and flies

your eyes’ light reflects in mine

you are here upon my breath

within the water of my veins

with me now until my death

when i am gone you’re what remains

you my dear within my breath

in darkened crannies of my brains

grand unifying shibboleth

deeply woven endless refrains
