little lizard

little lizard

in my shoe

so glad i shook

the crocky clogs

and out popped you

little lizard

made you look

when i mistook

your little nook

for foot houses

little lizard

have you heard

the rustling

of boughbound leaves

in the looming trees

little lizard

i saw you freeze

when you felt

the wingswept breeze

of hungry bird

little lizard

i flap my wings

and prance around

mindful bird sings

then flies away

little lizard

my daily foray

is now done

so please stay

in my hoof hotels
