kay bee

i could touch you gently
caress you like a whisper
play you pianissimo

i could strike you hard
pound you like i’m shouting
force you with a fierce forte

maybe a milder mezzo
a taste of the wild realm
between the hard and soft

i could stroke you
with loving fingers
alkaline dew to soothe you

or rest my paws upon you
with acidic sweat
that stings your skin

i want to dance with you
a fiesta of feverish fingers
then slow hands linger

i shall clean your nooks and crannies
when you behave in ways uncanny
caused by my callous ty-ranny

i’ll go easy on your springs
preserve your precious membranes
so you can last forever

yes i shall touch you gently
caress you like a whisper
play you pianissimo

always sensitive to your response
your song, your feel, your bounce
with each touch of my fingers

and with each stroke
i shall listen closely
to each character you reveal
