indigo fingers

pages stained by indigo fingers

imbued by the pinheads

wearing the finest ribbons

indelible indigo fingers

their scent still lingers
power powder

plastic particulate

fused into delicate designs

etched upon pulpy planes

yet pre-fuser black powder

explodes in a shower
pocket protector

overhead projector

armed with rainbow vis-à-vis

the array eager to play

a splotch from each color

on shirt and on each cheek
pigment magnet

absorbs piquant flavors

bleach and prayers asking favors

cornucopia of colors

bestow their druthers

with any hue at hand
