stricken seance

racing ripples dash across the indigo
stunning running flash puts on a show
within the inky darkness
betwixt twilight and blackness

shouts in sheets
enlight the streets
shimmering
glimmering
and fading fast

crooked crashes
electric dashes
invoke the rumbling
and full with humbling
echoes of the past

beneath the nigh full moon
the eager dance too soon
dear Venus and Jupiter
could not wait for her
such somber skies they stir

and still the sheets and bolts
skywide rage on
releasing joyous jolts
crying out their pent-up
monsoon madness
