be you tea full

be you
in all you do
even when joys seem few
into life yourself imbue

don’t try to be someone else
or put yourself on a shelf
become who you want to be
not what others want to see

work hard, reflect, work wise
and through it all realize
what brings pain, what brings glee
what makes you want to flee

choose how you can serve
help others find the nerve
give more than we deserve
from this course do not swerve

cultivate what makes you you
to your path always be true
pour yourself your favorite tea
take some time to simply be

each time you meet another’s eyes
see in them yourself in disguise
for we are but from one cloth cut
whether we prosper or are in a rut

when troubles make you itch
in truth and toil remain rich
share yourself in all you do
radiate your inner hue

steep in smiles, ignore the strife
sip the tea of honest life
let yourself be soulful
always be you tea full
