sempervivum

jupiter slowly sails
across early morning skies
a couple hours more he sails
until in daylight hides

wispy islands of clouds
frame the course he flies
over glowing enlightened shrouds
his majesty presides

each morning i watch
until the lark of morning cries
and apollo shines as butterscotch
as sempervivum subsides
