jason

i have this friend named jason
he’s all shriveled like a raisin
so while he’s all tight on brevity
our conversation
could use some levity

he might be dehydrated
he said water’s overrated
so much excess he did expunge
such bloat he hated
but now he’s like a sponge

i swear it was an accident
a poolside stroll and in he went
so now my plump friend jason
two hundred percent
his former fraction

the funny thing is this
he’s never seen such bliss
so when he was compactified
he never knew he’d miss
this time before he dried
