jillamanda

thick tangray skin
wrinkled and cracked
yet deep within
remains intact

fernlike fancy
waves in warm breeze
dance of faeries
calls long-lost bees

purple clusters
burst forth trumpets
flock fast fliers
feastful banquets

nigh lavender
recast as bells
precious as myrrh
with fragrant smells

time wafts away
as branches sway
what does time weigh
wind seems to say

bough laden blooms
make fragrant rooms
for wooden buddha
or purple panda

this spring romance
of jacaranda
and jillamanda
garden enchants

I’m sorry, but your work is too good to be in the blogosphere.

Kip, I appreciate the sentiment. Thank you! I still feel like I am just learning as I go along.

And it’s worth noting that your blog and several others also have some remarkable posts. What is really too good for the blogosphere?
