serene selenity

you harvested my heart
had me from the start
now you want a lung
my breath duly wrung

such serene selenity
stay with me ’til senility
songs of solace sung
in silent sky you’re hung

presaged the equinoctial node
to you i write this ode
oh harvest moon
you’re gone too soon

now into darkened waning
for your brightness yearning
though fading from my sight
in my heart burn you bright

Beautiful Brad! And yeah, even after it’s gone it burns bright inside.

I once saw a full orange moon and did this post:http://geetaanjalee.wordpress.com/2013/08/21/a-deep-orange-moon/

I thoroughly enjoyed your “deep orange moon” poem and post! Phenomenally articulated. Thank you for sharing!
