solo polka dot

what’s in your brew
oh why would you
dance the polka alone
like a tealess scone
last night so popular
now singularly jocular

solo polka dot
just a pregnant jot
without a single tittle
your edge begun to whittle
hanging in the hall of halls
painted on pristine pastels

with nary a wisp
you look so crisp
without a wrinkle
make eyes twinkle
you’ll fade away to soon
precious polka dot moon

This is great! Love the tealess scone simile

Lovely allusion with a clever structure for rhyme and rhythm. Your language and alliteration adds delightfully to the tone and the exposure at the end is perfect. Very well done.
