diffraction distraction

early morning eyes
scan the barcode on the wall
time for me to rise
and stumble on down the hall
pen holds no surprise
tell my tales about the shell
gapped venetian blinds
help me see so very well
moon up in the sky
nearly time that he shall fall
i must douse the light
cast off saturation’s shawl
on my face let shine
silent framework of the call
plethorous plasma
poignant pixels crawl
moon does overglow
above mock monoliths all
early morning eyes
scan the barcode on the wall
my face wears the guise
blue moon knows how to enthrall
